The Department of Otorhinolaryngology at IMCH is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients of all age groups, ranging from neonates to the elderly. We operate fully equipped, state-of-the-art operation theatres exclusively designed for ENT procedures.

Our operation theatres are furnished with advanced equipment, including high-end operating microscopes, HD endoscopy systems, and microdebriders, ensuring precision and excellence in microsurgery. We cater to a wide spectrum of surgical needs, including tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), microlaryngeal surgeries, head and neck oncology, and reconstructive procedures.

We run a dedicated ENT outpatient department (OPD) clinic for routine check-ups and diagnosis on all working days. Our department includes a fully functional Audiology and Speech Therapy Unit, offering services such as pure tone audiometry, impedance audiometry, and speech rehabilitation.

We also run specialized clinics, including a Vertigo Clinic and a Cancer Screening Clinic, to provide focused care for chronic and complex conditions. In addition, we are committed to delivering 24×7 emergency services for acute ENT conditions, including the removal of foreign bodies, management of epistaxis, and emergency tracheostomies for airway compromise.

Our department has a full faculty strength and a competent team of residents, audiologists, and nursing staff dedicated to providing the highest standard of specialized care and patient services. Alongside clinical excellence, we maintain strong academic standards by conducting regular seminars, group discussions, case-based discussions, journal clubs, case presentations, guest lectures, and research activities within the institution.
