The Department of General Medicine at IMCH is a well-established, high-volume, and academically active department, playing a central role in patient care, undergraduate education, postgraduate training, and clinical research.

The department functions through eight fully staffed clinical units, each with 30 dedicated inpatient beds, ensuring optimal faculty supervision, continuity of care, and structured postgraduate training.
